My name is Luiz Valdez Jr., and I am proud to call Murrieta home. As a husband, small-business owner, and construction project management professional, I understand the importance of building a strong foundation for our families, businesses, and community.
I graduated from Vista Murrieta High School and went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California Baptist University. My education and professional experience in construction project management have given me firsthand insight into the importance of responsible planning, infrastructure, fiscal accountability, and thoughtful development.
My wife, April, and I are also the owners of Dominion Coffee Roasters, a local specialty coffee business. Through our business, we have had the opportunity to connect with families, support community events, and build relationships with the people who make Murrieta special. As a small-business owner, I understand the challenges of entrepreneurship and the importance of creating an environment where local businesses can grow and thrive.

Like many young families, we understand the challenges of rising housing costs, the importance of safe neighborhoods, and the desire to establish lasting roots in a community we love.

As our city continues to grow, we must remain focused on public safety, responsible development, strong infrastructure, and opportunities for families and local businesses.
